As blockchain technology continues to provide inroads for innovation, it is fitting that one of the world's leading computer hardware producers would work extensively with the technology. 

Both Microsoft and Intel are big supporters of blockchain. They think it's going to be "bigger than the internet," contributing trillions of dollars to the economy before long.

Intel, which is a member of the Hyperledger collaboration — hosted by the Linux Foundation along with IBM and other major financial institutions — has announced that its new product is designed for businesses that want to launch their own blockchain fast and effectively.
