South Korean social messaging giant Kakao has been pretty busy with its blockchain ecosystem – Klaytn. While this ecosystem includes an ever-growing range of companies, it now includes Axie Infinity, according to an announcement by the team.

For right now, the Axie team will be focusing on the integration of its native token, Klay.

Which will also become one of the payment methods that community members can use.

For right now, the details seem pretty thin, but the two companies are looking at deeper integrations in the future.

What is more of a certainty is the fact that Axie Infinity has been given more than $15,000 worth of Klay to hand out as prizes to the community.
