We are back with another exciting article about a feature that has been in the game for a while but overlooked by many!
After playing Crypt-Oink and breeding Crypton for awhile you may find yourself thinking, “I have too many Crypton, what should I do with them all!!??” Well we hear you, we feel you, and we have the answer:
The Crypton Buyback Program
Crypton can be redeemed for either ETH or Coink!
ETH Buyback Program
First, let’s start with the ETH Buyback Program. There are a few requirements that must be met in order to be refunded ETH!
- Only Gen 0 Crypton directly sold by GoodLuck3 will be available for ETH Buyback. So from the Official Shop.
- Gen 0 Crypton obtained as race rewards or presents are NOT eligible for ETH Buyback.
- Crypton under the following conditions are NOT eligible for ETH Buyback: up for auction, currently being cancelled (auction etc.), siring, currently being gifted, pregnant, giving birth, partnering, in Cooldown mode, currently qualified for a race final, or currently listed in the leagues.
- You must train your Crypton to 100 total stat points before it is eligible for Buyback.
Now if you are wondering how/where you can initiate the Buyback program, see the following steps!
Step 1
From your Crypton’s Profile page, click the icon with the ETH symbol (circled in image). This will only appear when the Crypton has 100 total stat points!
Step 2
The next screen will show you how much ETH your Crypton is worth.
Note: It will always be the same value you paid at the Official Store.
Step 3
Confirm that you want to submit this Crypton for ETH buyback. Note: This will incur a gas fee.
That’s it! Next, let’s discuss Coink Exchange..
Coink Exchange Program
Second, lets look at the Coink Exchange and how it works!
Trade in your Crypton for Crypt-Oink’s in-game currency “Coink”!
All Crypton are eligible and all you have to do is select the Crypton you wish to exchange and then send in your exchange request!
Crypton with high stats (Speed, Power, Stamina) and low Generations will be valued higher!
In order to trade in your Crypton it has to have raced at least once.
Step 1
From your Crypton’s Profile, click the Coink icon
(circled in picture).
Step 2
The next page displayed will explain how much Coink your Crypton is worth based on it’s Stats and Generation!
Step 3
The final step is just confirming that you want to exchange your Crypton for Coink! Just beware once the request is sent, it cannot be cancelled!
