Two of the newest features have come to the World of Crypt-Oink; Expeditions and Badges!

 

What are Expeditions?

Users can send their Crypton on adventures called Expeditions. During Expeditions, Crypton will travel across various areas throughout the Crypt-Oink world where they have chances to find Badges!

 

Each area favors a certain stat (speed, power, or stamina); Crypton that have a higher point total in this stat have a better chance of finding better badges.

 

User may also choose up to four of their Friends’ Crypton to join their Expedition party. Doing so will help increase your overall compatibility rating further increasing your chances of finding rare items!

Just what are Badges?!

Badges, found during Expeditions, add unique abilities to the Crypton that equip them. Each Badge is broken down into 5 classes or rarities: C, B, A, S, and SS with SS being the rarest.

Badges are off-chain items (i.e. not on the blockchain). However, rare badges of rank A through SS can be brought onto the Ethereum blockchain and then sold on third party NFT market sites such as OpenSea!

 

 

Once acquiring a badge you can then equip the badge to your Crypton to augment its stats giving it an added edge on the race track. Read each badge to learn more!
