Cutie Fights: What Is Really Happening

Adventuring is one of the key activities for a healthy and happy Cutie.

By going on adventures, your Cutie gains experience and levels up. Also, your Cutie can bring home some treasures for you to use or sell.

There are thirteen different adventures in the game to choose from.

But what exactly happens with your Cutie?

Welcome to adventuring 101! Here you will learn all about it.

Enemy selection

Once your Cutie enters the adventure, it starts searching for someone to show their skills and gear to.

Cutie is looking for a fair fight, so it avoids anyone too strong or too weak compared to it.

But some Cuties decide to risk it all. So they grab a red flag and wave it to signal that they want to fight anyone regardless of the power level.

When such Cutie finds another one with a red flag, they come to blows.

In other words, adventure algorithm matches your Cutie with another of a similar power level, but there’s is a chance that you Cutie can get flagged to find a random opponent.

Environment attacks

At the beginning of a battle, the adventure’s environment will attack Cuties according to its elements.

And Cuties will try to defend themselves.

If your Cutie has enough elemental power, everything will be fine. Otherwise, it will get a disadvantage for the remainder of the fight.

Professor Needles could not handle the elemental attack, and now he got a debuff.

The fight

During the fight, Cuties roll for attack and defense.

When Cutie attacks, it rolls a D20 and adds its offense and power characteristics to the result.

Professor’s result is 25, but his attack failed (0)

Here the professor ads his power, attack, and energy to try to get to his opponent.

Bear Warrior’s result is 27, and his defense is successful (1)

To avoid the attack, this insanely cool bear needs to roll for defense.

To defend a Cutie rolls a D20 and adds its defense and power characteristics to the result.

Winning in a round

If a Cutie manages to hit its opponent, and its opponent doesn’t hit back, it wins the round.

In case of successful hits or misses on both sides, the round counts as a draw.

Winning a fight

If your Cutie wins two rounds, it becomes a winner.

Oopsies and epic moves

Sometimes luck can play its role, and your Cutie will act in an extreme way.

If you roll 20, the Cutie will have an epic success.

If you roll 1, the Cutie will experience an epic fail.

Evasion and luck

Evasion is a chance to avoid the attack no matter the value of the D20 roll.

Luck is a chance to successfully land the attack no matter the value of the D20 roll.

We hope this fighting guide helps you in your adventures.

Good luck in your battles, Cutieneers!
